Our Purpose
To help people build the strength and opportunity every neighbor needs to thrive. By uniting passionate partners with empowering classes, social services, and personal support, HUB Community Ministries fuels a hopeful, resilient future where everyone has the tools to take their next bold step.
Our Story
From the very beginning, Clear Lake United Methodist Church has been built on a simple, beautiful idea: we are at our best when we are growing together with our neighbors. Our first steps started right in the backyard, creating a community garden and an athletic field to give everyone a welcoming place to gather, play, and connect.
Now, that spirit of togetherness is growing even brighter! We are thrilled to share that HUB Community Ministries is expanding, opening its doors wider to bring new community outreach programs and wonderful partnerships to life. This beautiful new space features six versatile classrooms, a spacious special events deck, and restroom facilities. Together, we are creating a hopeful, flexible haven where friends and neighbors can easily find supportive groups, inspiring educational classes, and life-changing community resources.

We are proud to partner with a variety of organizations and businesses to support our community. Our partnerships enable us to expand our reach and provide even more resources and services including health screenings, youth sports camps, support groups,
life and work skills classes, special events for families, and more.

Connections ("Conexiones") Internet Space
Creating the Hub's Connections ("Conexiones") Internet Space recognizes that the area's scarce access to publicly available internet connectivity is an obstacle to academic success, workforce development, and social connections & support. Through a generous UMCOR grant, the Hub's Wi-Fi area will be available 24x7 and free of charge!
Christian Outreach Alliance (COA)
COA is a coalition of several churches in the Clear Lake area committed to helping families raise healthy children, and we are happy to share that they will have a permanent home at the HUB after celebrating over 20 years of impactful service in the community. COA provides intervention, prevention, and skills development programs for at-risk youth and their families.

HUB Health & Wellness Fairs

to Clear Lake Church of Christ and the Ulrich Family for their amazing generosity in sponsoring the construction and furnishing of The Deck as a special program area for youth activities.
