HUB (noun) - "a center around which other things revolve, or radiate from...a connection point for activity and information."
Working with children, families, and area partners, we strive to be a catalyst for a sustainable, healthy and thriving community in the greater Clear Lake area through innovative and informed services, support, and education.

Strengthening our community while being in community with our neighbors has been a part of Clear Lake United Methodist Church's identity since it's founding. The church acquired a nearly 4.5 acre green space between its main campus and Clear Lake's Exploration Green, and first steps were developing a large community garden and a popular athletic field to give neighbors a place to gather and enjoy.
We are excited to announce that in early 2026, the Hub Clear Lake will open to provide much-needed space for our current activities and provide room for new community outreach programs and expanded partnerships. With six large meeting rooms/classrooms and restroom facilities, it will be a flexible space for all types of meeting needs. Watch us grow !

We are proud to partner with a variety of organizations and businesses to support our community. Our partnerships enable us to expand our reach and provide even more resources and services including health screenings, youth sports camps, support groups,
life and work skills classes, special events for families, and more.
If your organization would like to partner with us, message us for more information at info@hubclearlake.org.

Creating the Hub's Connections ("Conexiones") Internet Space is a direct result of recognizing that the area's scarce access to publicly available internet connectivity - the "digital divide"- is an obstacle to academic success, workforce development, and social connections & support. Through a generous grant, the Hub's Wi-Fi area will be available 24x7 and free of charge !

COA is a coalition of several churches in the Clear Lake area committed to helping families raise healthy children, and we are happy to share that they will have a permanent home at the Hub after celebrating over 20 years of impactful service in the community. COA provides intervention, prevention, and skills development programs for at-risk youth and their families.

...to Clear Lake Church of Christ and the Ulrich Family for their amazing generosity in sponsoring the construction and furnishing of The Deck as a special program area for youth activities. Whether The Deck is being used as an outdoor study area, a place to host special events and movie nights, or a simply a spot for parents to watch their kids on the athletic field it will be a large, attractive, and popular part of our facility. We appreciate your support !
